Pure devotees of Supreme Lord Krishna in our Vaishnava lineage desire only to please Lord Krishna and attain the Divine Love. This Divine Love has appeared to us in this age of deception (Kali-Yuga) in the form of Hare Krishna Mahamantra. When we chant this Mahamantra without any material desire, under the shelter of a pure devotee, it purifies our heart and awakens our true unalloyed love for Krishna.
A pure devotee is never disturbed by honour and dishonour, praise and criticism, happiness and distress. We know it is difficult to be stable in all conditions but we should be engaged in devotional service and engrossed in Krishna consciousness through the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra under all circumstances. This way Supreme Lord Krishna will be pleased with us and we will achieve the highest perfection of this human life.
Supreme Lord Krishna gives us everything according to our desire. We must pray to Him with our intelligence, not for any material gain which is the cause of our distress. A pure devotee’s only occupation is to serve the Supreme Lord Krishna with his every action. Lord becomes extremely happy if we engage ourselves in the service of His pure devotees, who teach us the ultimate truth, the goal of all prayers, which is to attain the loving service of the Supreme Lord, through the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra with no other material desire.
We are caught in the miserable cycle of birth and death, happiness and distress due to our good and bad karma. This human form of life is meant for spiritual realisation and become free from this painful cycle. In this Iron Age (Kali-Yuga) Supreme Lord Sri Krishna mercifully appeared as Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to show us the path of deliverance and become eternally blissful through the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra under the shelter of Guru and Vaishnavas.
We have to undergo all sorts of suffering in this material world as we forget our relationship with Supreme Lord Krishna, who is the Supreme creator and origin of all existences. Out of our ignorance, we search for happiness in this mundane world by accumulating material wealth but the easiest way to get happiness is by surrendering unto the source of ultimate happiness, Lord Krishna. We can get His association through the sincere chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and become eternally blissful.
